Hey! Just thought I'd let you know. This movie SUPER GORY. Like, mega-ultra gory.
It's also totally awesome.

MITY - Criminal: Coward and Lawless
Man, I needed some hard-boiled crime in my life and Criminal Volumes 1 and 2 filled that void admirably.

MITY - The Jennifer Morgue
Ok. It's James Bond versus Cthulhu. If that doesn't sell you, you better pray that when Dread Lord Cthulhu returns, you are among the first to be driven mad with his divine insanity.
Yeah, Lovecraftian horror is kinda cool.

MITY - Assassin's Creed 2
It's nice when the game's protagonist sums up your reactions with a simple line of dialogue.

MITY - District B13
In a lot of ways, this reminds me of the first Ong Bak. Flashy, brutal action. Nonsensical dialog. Kinda stupid story. But, damn. It's pretty fun.

MITY - Scott Pilgrim & the Infinite Sadness
I liked Scott Pilgrim, the First. I like it even more after the Third. It's a little too hipster, but it's older hipster, so way less annoying hipster. And still MAD nerdy, which is totally fun. At this point, before I start reading Vol. 4, I can totally recommend this series.

MITY - Punisher MAX
Read through some Punisher MAX comics cause I found a review that mentioned Duane Swierczynski and Victor Gischler were doing some runs. Big fan of Duane's two books, The Wheelman and The Blonde and Gun Monkeys by Gischler was solid.
Both entries were the same blood soaked Punisher stuff I expected since Ennis took over and did not disappoint. Duane's was better, but the art in Victor's was superior. Next, I intend to catch up on the rest of Ennis's run in the series, because I think I missed the last 2 or 3 series.

Media I Ingest This Year or MITY
So, in hopes of reviving this, I'm doing my best to keep track of things.
