MITY - District B13

In a lot of ways, this reminds me of the first Ong Bak. Flashy, brutal action. Nonsensical dialog. Kinda stupid story. But, damn. It's pretty fun.


The way they do the action is something I noticed this time. Much like Ong Bak, it's almost a stunt reel with some story plastered around the holes. There's the multiple shots of someone doing something sweet. The high speed camera shots. Every type of action possible, minus elephant fighting (that's what Ong Bak is for!). It's cool, but noticeable. Can't blame 'em too much, though. Because the parkour guys are definitely very good at their jobs and make it looks almost easy. I hear the sequel is kinda crap, but this one is still a solid action movie that doesn't really slow down. Way more action that I remembered.
