MITY - Criminal: Coward and Lawless

Man, I needed some hard-boiled crime in my life and Criminal Volumes 1 and 2 filled that void admirably.

Excellent writing.

Bold coloring.

Deep shadows.

Bullets and broads, crime and corruption, this is some great stuff to get into.

Each volume is a separate story arc. There's nothing that really connects the two except for the same dive bar. If I had to pick the better one, I think it would Lawless. I'm a sucker for the bad-ass who kills for the ones he loves. It's a cliche as old as the day is long and that's exactly why it works so well.

I'm 2 issues into the third series and it's already shaping up to be just as riveting as the first two. Can't recommend this enough.
