Three Fucking Years
Boy did I let this slide off.
I've mostly been doing reviews for myself and whatever sights tracks all the bullshit I read and watch, like Goodreads and Letterboxd.
I think I'll try to start this up again, here.

Justified Is Pretty Great
I've loved Justified since the pilot. It's an AMAZING pilot, right up there with Lost's.
But I never thought it would get to the point where it is potentially my favorite show on TV.

Source Code
There is a perfect ending to this movie.
It's IN the movie.
Then they fuck it up by trying for a MORE perfect ending.
sigh...

My Dinner While Watching My Dinner With Andre
It was just some guacamole. I needed to test it, make sure it wouldn't kill guests.
Now, as for the movie...

The Lost and Found Weekend
I recently spent the weekend in Houston with a friend, mostly drinking beer and watching movies.
It was kinda rad.

Dear Zachary Will Wreck You
I'd heard about this documentray. About how it leaves you in a quivering pile after sucker punching you in the heart for an hour and half.

The Shawshank Redemption
Shawshank is occasionally my favorite movie. It or Fight Club.
Seeing it on the big screen last night, and seeing it for the first time in about 5 years, has not changed my opinion.

God, It's Been Awhile
I'm a terrible blogger. If I can, I'm going to do my best to get back into it.
So, let's talk about Summer Wars.

MITY - Criminal: Coward and Lawless
Man, I needed some hard-boiled crime in my life and Criminal Volumes 1 and 2 filled that void admirably.

MITY - The Jennifer Morgue
Ok. It's James Bond versus Cthulhu. If that doesn't sell you, you better pray that when Dread Lord Cthulhu returns, you are among the first to be driven mad with his divine insanity.
Yeah, Lovecraftian horror is kinda cool.

Must See TV
For some horrible reason, TV networks have decided to air about 75% of the TV I watch on one night a week. Thursday.

MITY - Assassin's Creed 2
It's nice when the game's protagonist sums up your reactions with a simple line of dialogue.

MITY - District B13
In a lot of ways, this reminds me of the first Ong Bak. Flashy, brutal action. Nonsensical dialog. Kinda stupid story. But, damn. It's pretty fun.

MITY - Scott Pilgrim & the Infinite Sadness
I liked Scott Pilgrim, the First. I like it even more after the Third. It's a little too hipster, but it's older hipster, so way less annoying hipster. And still MAD nerdy, which is totally fun. At this point, before I start reading Vol. 4, I can totally recommend this series.

MITY - Punisher MAX
Read through some Punisher MAX comics cause I found a review that mentioned Duane Swierczynski and Victor Gischler were doing some runs. Big fan of Duane's two books, The Wheelman and The Blonde and Gun Monkeys by Gischler was solid.
Both entries were the same blood soaked Punisher stuff I expected since Ennis took over and did not disappoint. Duane's was better, but the art in Victor's was superior. Next, I intend to catch up on the rest of Ennis's run in the series, because I think I missed the last 2 or 3 series.

Hoorah, For Burn Notice Returns!
Burn Notice is ridiculously fun and entertaining and tonight, it was back with the start of it's third season, which is already starting off ridiculously fun and entertaining. Except for being a little exposition heavy up front, no worries. Always great to to awesome TV back on the air.
